Had an AMAZING fine dining experience. Totally recommend that. But if you're used to luxury hotels, in my opinion this isn't really top notch in terms of rooms. The walls are a bit dirty and have scratches, the furniture seem coming from ikea. For the price it was there wasn't even a bath hub but just a shower. The room temperature was really warm and my partner didn't have a peaceful night because of that and we couldn't lower the temperature for some reason. In the mini bar there were wines, cheap snacks, coca cola and Heineken ...which to me it's a total mismatch with the image the hotel presents of itself. It would have been much different to find healthy bio organic snacks and beers from local breweries, for instance. However the bed was really comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. I would definitely go back for the fine dining, but I wouldn't spend my money for a room again.

A beautiful historic building with amazing gardens right next door and lovely clean rooms. The view from our room was amazing! Despite staying in such a luxurious castle building, it was still super central and an easy walk to all the attractions in Groningen.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Groningen. A great blend between modern architecture and the history of the Prinsenhof. The service was friendly and excellent. The breakfast is very good, but based on previous experiences we have decided to dine elsewhere.

Beautiful room with great view. Very kind and helpful staff, warm welcome at the reception. Nice breakfast. The 8-course dinner in their Nassau restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Light, fresh and surprising tastes and structures. The two young men serving us were very skilled and kind, with fun stories to accompany the excellent wines. Thanks for having us!

We had a great experience during our stay at hotel Prinsenhof. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner at Nassau was phenomenal. Lovely ambiance, service, and quality of food & wine.
